How to uninstall Distributely from a HubSpot account
Distributely is uninstalled the same way any HubSpot Marketplace app is uninstalled — from inside your HubSpot account settings, not from within Distributely itself. This article walks through that process and explains what does and doesn't change as a result, both in HubSpot and in Distributely.
Uninstalling the app in HubSpot:
Follow HubSpot's own instructions for removing a marketplace app:
- Click the settings icon in your HubSpot top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar, go to Integrations > Connected Apps.
- Find Distributely in your list of connected apps and click Actions.
- Select Uninstall.
- Type "uninstall" into the confirmation field, then click Uninstall.

What this does immediately in HubSpot- Distributely's access to your HubSpot account is revoked.
- Any HubSpot workflow that uses a Distributely routing action will show that step as broken or missing once the app is uninstalled. Review and remove those workflow steps yourself — uninstalling the app does not clean them out of your workflows for you.
- If any of your workflows are actively running that step at the exact moment you uninstall, that enrollment may error instead of failing gracefully.
- Past assignments are not undone. When Distributely routes a contact, deal, ticket, or lead to a rep, it writes that rep's owner ID directly onto the record (normally the standard "Contact owner"/"Deal owner" property, or occasionally a different owner property if a team was configured that way). Uninstalling Distributely does not revert or clear any of these already-assigned owner values — those stay exactly as they are.
- No custom properties are removed, because Distributely doesn't create any custom contact/deal/ticket properties in your account in the first place. Uninstalling has no effect on your object schema.
- No other HubSpot data (webhooks, CRM cards, etc.) is affected — Distributely does not register any of those in your account beyond the workflow actions noted above.
- Uninstalling from HubSpot does not automatically remove your account, teams, or routing rules inside Distributely. Those are retained as-is.
